SIMULATION-BASED MEDICAL EDUCATION AS A STRATEGIC TOOL FOR IMPROVING CLINICAL COMPETENCE AND PATIENT SAFETY IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

Simulation-based medical education(SBME) has emerged out as a crucial component of modern healthcare training allowing medical students and healthcare professionals to develop clinical competence in a controlled and patient-centered environment. The use of simulation technologies in medical education is crucial especially, in light of the “Uzbekistan-2030” development strategy and current healthcare reforms. This research examines how simulation-based training can improve clinical expertise, and patient safety in Central Asian countries, particularly focusing on Uzbekistan. This study emphasizes on the situation of simulation-based education today, its benefits over conventional teaching techniques, and its potential to decrease the count of medical errors. The importance of simulation technologies in enhancing teamwork guaranteeing high-quality medical care and training aspiring doctors and medical professionals for actual clinical situations is emphasized.
